To put it simply, Allen Walker is not your normal 15 year old. Nope. For a kid living in the early 19th century, Allen's been though more than others have in a decade or two. But it's those certain things that have shifted and molded Allen into what he is now.

Though all the problems and the trauma, Allen is very caring and kind. He was abandoned as a baby, due to his biological parents thinking that his left arm was deformed. But thankfully, he was adopted by a man named Mana Walker. Mana was told to be a traveling performer who was kind at heart. Having no one else around him, Allen looked up to Mana, and learned a great deal of things- from flute playing to manners, to reading and even creating their own secret code. Mana was a big influence in Allen's life, and as far as Allen is concerned, will always be.

He's also very gentlemanly. Not really in the whole 'raise your pinky finger when you drink' way, but in his...well, his own way! Allen was taught by Mana in the circus, not by some gentlemen's school where it took half of your wallet to go. Even though it's all street taught, Allen always remembers to use his manners first!

Part of Allen's kind personality also comes from learning with General Cross...even though General Cross had absolutely no manners to save his life. He took Allen in after Mana's death and helped him learn about becoming an Exorcist, but Cross was crude, and usually put his own interests before anything else. Cross had been known to womanize and drink and place bets, majority which he never even paid off. When Cross got in trouble, Allen was used as the scapegoat. Allen has said many times that he doesn't like the General, and he does what he can to make sure that he doesn't turn into his master's image completely.

In the short amount of time since joining the Black Order, the staff there has quickly become family. Allen cares for every person there, whether they be Exorcist or Finder. He loves and cares for each person he's known, and gets angry and upset when something bad happens to them. The Order has quickly become a motivator for him, especially when it comes to protecting humans and going on missions to find Innocence.

Another key trait that's gotten Allen into a fair amount of trouble (in scenarios and by his friends, even...) is that he's very self-sacrificing. He's not afraid to step forward and take injuries or what have you, as long as it means that his friends will be safe from harm. Allen's kindness has gone a long way, and it's shown others what he can do for a boy his age. But at the same time, it makes him very vulnerable. If his friends are in a pinch and there's nothing he can do, Allen will sometimes put the blame on himself.

On that note, Allen's also very compassionate. This is best shown when he talks about saving the akuma. He's always had a different standpoint- that freeing the akuma is just as important as saving the lives of humans. His left eye was cursed when he was a child, making him able to see the souls of those trapped by the works of the Earl, and it makes him look deeper into what makes him an Exorcist than others. He's been told that he's a destroyer who can save, and so far, he's held that name very well. In a less gung-ho kind of way, Allen took up the name of a performing dog who had been killed by another clown out of spite.

No matter how good he is, Allen's completely capable of hate. But his compassion for others can be so strong that he will go out to save a life, no matter how strong his hate is. He won't sit around and let someone off to their doom, while knowing that he could have saved them. He'll do everything he can in his power to prevent death, no matter who you're talking about.

There's something that really puts Allen aside from all of the other Exorcists out there. His left eye had been cursed by an akuma, so he can detect when other akuma are nearby, and see their souls. Although many can see this as an advantage, others said that Allen lives through a hell on earth. With other incidences weighing on his mind, and some more factoring things, Allen is actually a pretty lonely kid. When he puts himself in for everyone else and sees the horrifying things he sees, it's a very common feeling.

Not to mention that everyone seems to think he's going to betray the Order. That doesn't help.

But no matter what he's gone through, Allen's still a fifteen year old kid. Honestly, there's no way he can't be. He can be silly and naive, and eat and eat and eat and not put a single pound on. On the inside, somewhat buried beneath his kind and caring and manners, there's this part of him from the past that's a complete brat who snaps at anyone who tries to offer help. It's when he lets his fifteen year old side loose that Allen can unravel, and allow himself to behave and think like a kid his age really should. The stuff that he deals with weights a lot on his shoulders, and honestly? Nobody should have to see the stuff he sees.

Thanks to all of the crap he went through as a kid and the discipline he learned from Cross, Allen is one hell of a strong kid. He can train relentlessly for hours and hours on end, and stand through the roughest and toughest of fights. He can take on a pretty bad beating too!

The Innocence he has is a Parasite type, which means is leeches from his strength and healing itself in return. So not only can he withstand through awful beatings in combat, but he can also endure through his Innocence slowly waning his strength away.

Put his saintliness aside though, and Allen has plenty of bad things about himself too. He's immature, just like any other kid would be. There's a part of him that gets poked and prodded, and he reacts just like anyone else would. This especially happens when someone happens to call him a name, or anyone else names. And then there's that little brat inside of him that gets prodded out every so often. Allen can get stuck in bickering wars, and often push others away if they try to intervene. Funny enough, he doesn't really try to stop said bickering, unless someone's life is on the line or something major like that.

He's also very good at cheating at Poker. Thank you, General Cross and you inability to pay debts.

Allen's also a pretty confused little kid, too. The minute he joined the Black Order, many things that happened in his life suddenly became a little muddled. For example, Allen thought that he was nothing but a pure, human Exorcist, and now suddenly he's been told that he's going to eventually turn into a Noah. Mana had never really dwelled into the past, and now all of a sudden, Allen's learning that Mana had a brother. Things are being twisted and turned upside down, and he hardly knows what to think or what to do. Others are seeing him in a different light because of this, which confuses him also in that aspect.

His self-sacrificing can be pretty damaging on himself (metaphorically and literally...). His friends have gotten visibly angry at him for putting himself first and going through all the shit, when there were clearly others there to help him. He doesn't exactly do this out of selfishness or the wanting to put himself on the throne.

All in all, Allen Walker is a pretty good kid with a lot of shit under his belt!

[ When the video starts, a young boy with white hair is there to greet you. He closes his eyes and offers a bright smile. ] Hello there!

For those who haven't met me quite yet, my name is Allen Walker. It's very nice to meet all of you! [ Since the people he's met have been pretty nice so far! ]

...I do have a question, though. I lost something very important to me, and I was wondering if anyone had seen it by chance!

[ He looks up for a moment, before continuing. ] He's about this big, [ See his estimate he's made with his hand there... ] and he's gold! He also has wings and a big curly tail. His name is Timcampy!

He wanders around, sometimes. I just want to make sure he's safe. Thank you very much! [ And with that, the feed comes to an end! ]

This was such a nice little place. Slowly but surely, Allen was starting to get used to it.

It was different not being able to activate his Innocence, and instead be able to heal. It was different that knowing there were other kinds of gods out there, and people all over were being chosen to do these things. Everybody had their own special power here, and they all worked together. It was a different system...but it was a nice system.

He had to wonder, though. A lot of people talked about a different Allen. And they already said that he was different than the other. Sometimes he caught himself thinking a lot about that other self. How were they different? Did something happen to that Allen that never happened to him? Or the opposite? It was kind of strange enough knowing that everyone here came from their very own world. But knowing that there could be a different England with a different Lavi and a different Kanda was stranger yet.

It made him feel...out of place. Like he was a walking copy.
But it wasn't like feeling that way was something new.

There was no Lavi here. There was no Lenalee, or Kanda, even. Or maybe there had been? So this world might be nice, but it was just as confusing, too.

Allen stopped walking, and looked to the sky. Then he looked left...and right. He missed being at home, and with his friends. He missed eating with Jerry, and training with Lavi. He felt so alone here, no matter who recognized him. And he didn't really recognize how bad he felt about this until now.

...But there were other people here, wasn't there?

So he might not be the same as the other Allen. But he was still Allen Allen Walker, who was....dealing with a few things. He was recognized by others, and a few even wanted to restart their friendship right off the bat! Maybe things would be a little different if they recognized who he was, and they left him for himself.

And everyone at home could take care of themselves. It was something they were constantly telling him. It wasn't like Allen didn't trust his friend; he did. But maybe it was about time he started to really, really take their word for it. And just like they would be fine at home, he would be fine right here.

Allen nibbled on his lip for a moment, before continuing on his walk. He would be fine, as long as he let it be fine. He just had to keep walking...just as Mana told him many times before.
